Ajax Housing Tour

We partnered with the Town of Ajax to create the Ajax Housing Tour, an interactive 3D visualization designed to showcase the possibilities of adding Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs) to existing neighbourhoods. This initiative highlights how secondary suites, garden suites, and laneway homes can unlock new potential for homeowners while supporting the town’s housing goals.

Through a combination of 3D renderings and animation, the tour provides residents with a clear, accessible way to explore design options and better understand how ADUs can fit into their properties. Rather than relying solely on technical drawings or policy documents, this visual tool communicates the benefits of ADUs in a way that is engaging and easy to follow.

The project not only helps residents imagine new housing opportunities but also supports the Town of Ajax in encouraging thoughtful urban growth. By showing real-world applications of policy through visualization, the tour serves as both an educational resource and a planning tool—making it easier for the community to envision a more flexible and sustainable approach to housing.
