We’re now over one year in the making, and the Render Development team is fostering yet another successful business partnership with an incredible new client. We are thrilled to be working with Prince Developments, a prestigious Toronto-based real estate development and management firm. It’s an honour to collaborate with them on a high-profile development project, and we value their inspiring ethos and professionalism.
Prince Developments has executed some notable developments in the hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors. They’re a major player in Canada’s real estate development industry, and they have an impressive portfolio. With extensive expertise in real estate development operations, including planning and project execution, Prince Developments is the gold standard when it comes to customer service and business relationships. We couldn’t ask for a better client!
This highly-anticipated development project will rise in Downtown Ottawa in Summer 2022. With a lot of big players involved, we can expect to see an extraordinary outcome. One of those giants is RIMAP, a Montreal-based hospitality management company in operation since 2007. This innovative enterprise is one of Quebec’s leading hotel operators, with four exclusive international hotels already in metropolitan Montreal.
AC Hotels by Marriot is another. They’re an internationally recognized, exclusive hotel chain operator with lifestyle suites throughout Europe and North America. If you’ve been fortunate enough to stay in a Marriott suite during a business trip or personal travel, then you’ve experienced their impeccable hospitality first-hand, lucky you. They have a worldwide reputation for extraordinary service and model amenities that make guests want to stay a little longer than planned.
So, what’s the project?
By now, you’ve probably guessed that the massive development is an AC Marriott lifestyle hotel. It will be situated in the heart of Ottawa: the popular Byward Market neighbourhood, which sees an astonishing 11 million visitors per year (based on 2017 stats) (1). This proposed 202-room hotel will feature private guest suites and public spaces with first-class decor and exquisite furnishings. It’s not the first time this duo has brought hospitality up a prime notch in Canada. This is Marriott and RIMAP’s second venture together, and with Prince Developments on the score, we can expect this new development to become an impressive landmark of hospitality in our nation’s capital.
So, what does all that have to do with Render Developments? We’re part of it! We’re working with Prince Developments to create sharp, beautiful renderings that will have investors lining up to grab a piece of the pie, and stakeholders marvel over what is about to bestow Central Ottawa. (The technology is so incredible it’s hard to believe that the renderings are only virtual at this point!).
Our relationship with Prince Developments is fantastic, and we’re excited to see the project unfold over the next two years.
We’re also geared up to begin another project, currently at the pre-approval stage, with Prince Developments and Crombie REIT. The redevelopment of Bronte Village, which has already started, is set to add highly-anticipated luxury residential towers and retail space to a desirable and rapidly growing area of Oakville.
