Northwood Business Park Oshawa
- Type: Commercial Municipal, Project
- Technology: Virtual Tour
The Project
We collaborated with the City of Oshawa to create an immersive virtual tour of the Northwood Business Park, a 722-acre site positioned for major industrial, commercial, and recreational development. Rather than relying solely on maps and lengthy reports, this project gave city staff a dynamic visual tool to clearly communicate the site’s potential to council, stakeholders, and the public.
The tour provides a comprehensive perspective of how the land can be transformed. Viewers can explore the property at scale, understand its proximity to major transportation routes and institutions, and see how the proposed development aligns with Oshawa’s long-term economic vision.
By presenting the project visually, the City of Oshawa was able to strengthen engagement, build confidence among stakeholders, and highlight the opportunities Northwood brings to the region. This approach not only showcases the site itself but also demonstrates how forward-thinking municipalities can leverage visual storytelling to promote growth and attract investment.
Our role was to bring clarity to a complex project, helping the City illustrate the benefits of Northwood in a way that is both accessible and compelling. This virtual tour stands as a strong example of how municipalities can use renderings and digital media to bridge the gap between planning and community vision.
