Two large Ontario cities have already partnered with Render Developments to attract investors and bolster their economic development, and the Eastern Ontario Innovation Corridor has also established a partnership with Render. The case studies below detail how all three entities have enlisted the services of Render Developments to cultivate significant investments.

Business Case: Hamilton

The City of Hamilton sought to expedite the prospect of new companies investing in the region. They targeted $25M to $50M investors and highlighted key areas of opportunity.

In 2020, Render Developments won Hamilton’s municipal RFQ, helping the city to showcase their current and future developments, as well as specific business areas relied upon to drive revenue and innovation.

Render provided Hamilton with a fully branded, virtual guided tour called Invest in Hamilton, which features all of Hamilton’s most attractive assets, including innovative development companies and internationally respected colleges and universities.

You can view the virtual tour HERE.

Business Case: Oshawa

The City of Oshawa intended to showcase the future of its city, in turn hoping to attract additional investment opportunities.

In response, Render Developments created a comprehensive digital visualization package for Oshawa, including virtual branded and guided tours of the city, as well as stunning 360 degree drone photography (seen HERE).

The custom computer programming used in the project offers the viewer unlimited perspective of the city, enabling complete 360-degree manipulation from both aerial and street perspectives.

Business Case: Eastern Ontario Innovation Corridor (EOIC)

The EOIC connects entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within one network to provide access, significant support for growth, and the opportunity for easy, open dialogue in addressing industry challenges. The EOIC unifies the strengths of communities across all of Eastern Ontario to create a stronger, more collaborative network of support for entrepreneurs and businesses.

The Virtual Tour can be seen HERE.

The EOIC’s key pillars are driving innovation and fostering collaboration, and their intent is to market the global competitive advantage of doing business in Eastern Ontario.

The solution Render Developments provided to the EOIC was in the creation of a virtual tour of Eastern Ontario by region, highlighting the innovation ‘hotspots’ of each region from Durham through to Stormont Dundas and Glengarry. The tour comprehensively connects Eastern Ontario’s academic, government, and industry focal points with investing and innovation partners as a robust ecosystem supportive of startups and emerging talent. The tour also showcases local and international businesses, and promotes the advantages of living and working in the vicinity of three of Canada’s main business markets – Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.

These achievements are yet another example of how Render Developments has perfected the art of architectural visualization. By combining custom virtual tours, high-resolution imagery, drone photography, dashboards, and lead generation tools, Render uses world-class technology to provide municipalities with the opportunity to secure more investors and achieve their economic goals.
